Cassie qualified as a nurse in 2005 and brings extensive experience from a variety of clinical settings, including medical wards, district nursing and specialist nursing roles. Throughout her career, she has supported individuals and families, recognised concerns, advocated for those in her care and worked closely with multidisciplinary teams.
 

Her nursing background has given her a strong understanding of safeguarding, professional boundaries and confidentiality, alongside a deep appreciation of the importance of listening, building trust and supporting people when they may be vulnerable.
 

As Allstars’ Safeguarding Lead, Cassie helps ensure that the welfare and wellbeing of every child and young person remain at the heart of the academy. She is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable approaching a trusted adult, knowing that their concerns will be listened to, taken seriously and acted upon appropriately.
